If you’re looking for a name brand staple in the cannabis community, look no further then the Headband strain. While it may not be the Nike of marijuana strains, it’s pretty close. Hailing from the OG Kush strain and Sour Diesel, this Californian native has roots firmly planted in the West Coast. But don’t think that just because it’s from the west coast that it’s laid back, this mentally invigorating hybrid strain starts off by creating a sense of pressure right where, well you guessed it, a headband would be.
Known for it’s high THC content, the Headband strain has been measured up to 25%! While this may not seem like a lot, consider this. In the early 80’s, the average THC content would be around 5%! Noted to have very distinct trichomes, you’ll find beautiful white hairs all over the strain that add to the appeal. Many say that headband itself would be what a cannabis christmas tree would look like when it’s snowing. Now that’s what you’d really expect out of a marijuana plant!
Medical patients that are looking to alleviate Chronic Pain and Nausea often gravitate to headband. For those who are in the process of going through chemotherapy can greatly benefit from it’s pain and nausea reducing powers. As well as the aforementioned ailments, the Headband strain is a potent anti-inflammatory, alleviating the symptoms of arthritis almost instantly. While you wouldn’t necessarily want to say this strain is recommended for older folks, it’s healing properties can be very beneficial to those who are in the 65+ category. Headband is good times all around my crown. One of my most beloved best. No bad stuff for me (anxiety, paranoia, ect). Probably one of the very best for depression (besides PR). This one has been a frequent go to anytime I need to see the world in a slightly different light.

I’ve gotten some headband which I mistakened as lemon haze because of thr citriusy scent (& I’ve never had lemon haze before, but I was told it was lemon haze) & I’m starting to believe it was some headband because I’ve read reviews on lemon haze & the comparison to the weed I smoked which was actually headband makes sense. This gave me the chillest high & I genuinely mean that. You feel relaxed as if it were a dream. I smoked this on a hill with a few friends & it really made my day. I packed like 5 bowls & I didn’t get those overwhelming, extreme highs. If you prefer something more relaxed & keeps your mind & body at ease, smoke some headband!

While this was a great strain for your neighborhood cannassuer, it’s also great for recreational and/or medicinal users. Very intense euphoric and energetic effects. While it had me up and moving, still allowed me to go right to sleep. Packed heave munchies with it so make sure you have some tasty snacks! One of my all time favorites.

This review is actually for 818 Headband. Taste isn’t super-diesel oriented, but this batch is leaning toward the sativa side like a champ. In fact, this is one of my go-to “get shit done” strains.

STRONG. Not for beginners. It’s an intense, almost trippy high with legs – so you keep going for hours. It can give you a serious next-day fog, so keep that in mind. It’s very potent, almost too potent for many people I know. Again, not for the newbie.

I suffer from migraine headaches and this gets rid off them! Since my prescription medicine typically costs me 40 dollars per pill, This is a miracle for me. This gets rid of my pain, gives me lots of energy. It is not great for people who get paranoia or anxiety when they smoke (which I do) I can deal with this though because it gets rid of my pain. 🙂

What we have in Illinois(Chicago-land area) is strawberry headband or 707 headband. This is the review for strawberry headband which comes in at 18.95% TCH. This strain definitely lives up to the status of hybrid . The first 30-45 mins is a sativa feeling uplifting and after that the sinking couch feeling of the indica sets in. A perfect strain for just before bed , when you have a few things to finish up, but then want to relax and be pain free

One of the strongest hybrid strains in existence, headband will leave you DESTROYED. In small doses it can leave you feeling uplifted and energetic, but in larger doses couch-lock will take effect. It’s usually a very dense and great smelling bud, and if you haven’t tried it, you need to get with the program.

Me and my friends have been smoking this hybrid strain, The first few tokes give you a quick head high and thereafter it settled into a very euphoric long lasting high. Along many laughs and quite a few burgers and pizzas demolished. It really makes want to smoke more and more of it to increase the high. truly a solid cannabis strain for daily smoking:)

As someone with bipolar, this is one of the few strains that does not make me manic. I have achieved the most sacred highs I’ve ever had with Headband. It makes me feel VERY aroused and excited, and everything is just so funny!
